BC PNP issue 133 invitation in the latest Tech Pilot Draw

Tech Pilot draw was conducted under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program on 26 May 2020. In this BC PNP tech draw, 133 candidates were invited from the Skills Immigration and Express Entry BC categories. A total of four Sub Categories were included in the Draw. The minimum score requirements for each program was 80.

  • SI – Skilled Worker
  • SI – International Graduate
  • EEBC – Skilled Worker
  • EEBC – International Graduate

Tech pilot stream was started in 2017, to meet the growing demand for skilled workers from the tech sector. BC PNP tech draw is conducted weekly and candidates are invited from 29 eligible occupations. This program is now extended until June 2020.

The BC PNP Tech Pilot allows British Columbia immigration officials to expedite the processing of immigration candidates in key in-demand technology occupations.

In-Demand Technology Occupations

Successful nominations through a Provincial Nominee Program to a candidate, provide an additional 600 points in the Express Entry profile and boost their CRS score. Eventually, it guarantees an invitation to apply to the candidates in the subsequent draw. Candidates need to accept the nomination in the Express Entry profile to add 600 points to the CRS score.
