British Columbia conducted its latest draw under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) on June 16, 2020, and invited 276 candidates targeting skilled workers and international graduates from sub-streams of Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration streams.
Invitation issued under Express Entry BC Stream :
- EEBC-skilled worker, with a minimum score of 100.
- EEBC – International Graduate with a minimum score of 103.

These streams are aligned with the federal Express Entry. Under the Express Entry BC stream, candidates must have an active Express Entry profile, and 600 points are issued in their Express Entry profile upon successful nomination and are eligible for a confirm Invitation to Apply in the subsequent draw once they accept the nomination in their Express Entry Profile.
Invitation issued under Skilled Immigration Category :
- SI – Skilled Worker with a minimum score of 100.
- SI – International Graduate with a minimum score of 100.
- SI – Entry Level and Semi-Skilled with a minimum score of 80.

Candidates are given 30 days to submit the complete application after issuing the invitation.
BC PNP continues to exclude some of the NOC which are affected by the ongoing restrictions due to COVID -19 pandemics. As following NOC are not considered for this BC PNP Draw:

Business-related to these occupations are affected by the restrictions due to the Covid-19 pandemic, as a result, the demand for these occupations is declined in the province. This is not the first stream that is affected by the Coronavirus.
CIC also conducted only CEC and PNP draws at the Federal level and not conducted all stream draw since 4 March 2020. Apart from this Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) also made changes in their intake pattern due to the COVID-10 pandemics
Earlier, BC PNP decided to extend its popular Tech Pilot Program for one more year till June 2021. This program is an extended pathway for candidates from Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration streams to get nomination under BC PNP.
